Little One

A little one laid to rest today.
A life short-lived on earth,
Eternity to find.

A little one joined another today,
A sibling who'd gone first
Into HIS arms sublime.

Our little one's not forgotten today.
 Although, an early birth
Separates us for a time.

A year ago, we never imagined we would bury a child.
Yet, now, we know this way too well having walked it twice before.

Today, we buried Baby K4 next to Baby K2 on a farm in Kansas.
Baby K3's small frame rests in Galmi, Niger.

Our hearts ache.
Our tears fall.
HIS love sustains,
through it all.

Please join us as we pray for healing --
body, heart and soul.

And, also, please join us as we celebrate
the precious miracle God entrusted to us a little over 2 years ago!

Resting and Trusting in the Giver of life,

Birthday SURPRISE!

We are very thankful that we could fly to SC last weekend
to surprise Nana, Dianna's mom, for her 60th birthday!

Surprise!!
Although the trip was short, we found time to make some great memories...

Four Generations

Papa & Nana with their grandbabies

Photo Break...time to build block towers

The Greats -- grandparents & grandkids

Sweet family
Daniel (Di's brother) Kristi & Dylan

And us, too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NANA!!

We also spent a day with Nona, Dean's mom.
Gracie loves helping out with the horses!

Those of you who follow us on facebook
-- which is not updated much more than this blog --
may remember some of these pics from Labor Day weekend in Kansas City:

in Overland Park, KS

Feeding baby goat with Uncle Jonathan

Up close and personal with the "duckie"
What a blessing to have two of Dean's brothers so close to us!
